Ensuring That People Don't Get Bitten By Mosquitoes

YAML Interest

Half a million people every year die from malaria, mainly due to mosquito bites. It is approximately the same number as all the car accidents in the world in a year combined.

According to Winegard, the mosquito “has ruled the earth for 190 million years and has killed with unremitting potency” some 52 billion people (i.e., more than all wars in history combined).

Any means to effectively prevent transmission of malaria, e.g., preventing mosquitoes from biting people, would be highly desirable.
