You're very welcome, [yrik], welcome to Infinity Project :) Hope it helps!I actually spent about a month, that is about {240} hours to do the prototype, which is [here](https://gitcafe.com/Mindey/X-Maze), and quit my PhD studies to learn to do it. :)[Niamh], PayPal is already providing the option for own websites/blogs to create such a button. The YouTube/Vimeo videos and fan pages there are under control by [Google Inc.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google), and [Vimeo LLC.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vimeo) Google has its own payment services, like Google Wallet, but it seems that it had not integrated them to YouTube. The first step in making these changes on YouTube or Vimeo, is to find the decision-makers for these platforms, e.g., regarding YouTube, the CEO [Susan Wojcicki](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Susan_Wojcicki), and [Kerry Trainor](https://www.linkedin.com/in/kerrytrainor) on Vimeo. It is usually easiest for companies to introduce a feature, if it well thought-out by an internal developer, who knows the system inside-out, and knows how it would all integrate, much time it might require to deploy and support it. Btw., currently, one working way for video creators to profit is to [sell ads](https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/72857) on YouTube channel. [ruta], [Luke][iulia-link] -- how do you see it working? Needs more detail on how your idea would actually work.// It would be nice to be able to be able to nominate super-equity partners. I'd add you for that. // [Cabria], we can do that! Indeed, sometimes people come up with an idea in a collective conversation, so, there are situations when you want to have other people as idea owners as well. We'll do it :)[Cabria], there are such companies! [Pact Publishing](https://www.packtpub.com/) for example. What is missing to consider this baked?[Cabria], sorry. I thought about publishing. I remember _Google Books_ had previously offered the option to get books, which are out of print, printed, and delivered. I guess, they were using the [Espresso Book Machine](http://ondemandbooks.com/) ([video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXSaq9hLqNc)). Maybe there is an alternative to it, but to start such a company, I'd assume you'd have to lease or buy such a machine.Ah, looks a lot like our project, but we don't yet support these features. It would require much work with law in many countries, etc... [Cabria] :) I'm thinking, once we have all tasks going, to integrate with [3D Study Maze](https://infty.xyz/idea/5/detail/) thing.[Cabria], sure, will keep you informed :)[Cabria], just let's leave a tag, like [marked-for-deletion] (redundant). Later, we can delete at some time in the future, when we have house cleanup. We should have some kind of house cleanup over time.[ruta], good idea, which certainly is doable. So many statisticians, computer scientists and data scientists working on computer vision. What you need, is a higher resolution cameras on computers, or [existing solutions](http://www.tobii.com/PCEye2011) (tobii) to use your eyeballs as mouse.[ruta], btw., be more specific in the naming, because this 'Online Behaviour Tracker' is very general, could refer to much more than eye-tracking. Maybe 'Online Reading Time and Topic Tracker'.[ruta], originally, the difference between a project and an idea is that a project concerns specific group of people, using specific tools, trying to deliver specific deliverable. Just reducing the generality of an idea does not make it into a project. Adding concrete people and tools and scope does. Idea can be very specific and detailed, like a patent, but it is not a project without specific time and space, people, tools, scope in real world. :)[Yuri-B], welcome to the Infinity Project! It seems like one of the solutions, of course, however, we have to be more specific, how people would make money via such initiatives. Could you elaborate? [iulia-link], mentioning you, as it is relevant to the problem you raised :)[ruta], how the book would let people make money? Provide the choices? I've thought about something along the lines of introducing kids with all possible jobs when writing [this](http://old.mindey.com/ideju_dienorastis.htm#2005-06-11), however, I think just presenting all possible jobs is not a good way to facilitate thinking. Instead, it seems like a way to restrict thinking. Ah.. and, the whole 'Book on Future of Jobs' - very cliché idea. A problem? Just write a book on it. Not very creative, not a solution that would present some innovative new principle.[ruta], and... would this idea solve the problem completely? An idea that qualifies for solution should solve the problem completely, with high probability of success. Even if such book existed, I think, this book alone would not solve the problem. Let's post systematic ideas that would actually completely solve a problem. Maybe this should be a rule on our idea posting?// I added a different problem that relates to this idea more. // [ruta], where? link?[ruta] > Also, we need a way of letting any user to flag content if an idea doesn't provide a solution to a problem, and encourage an idea owner to edit a problem or rewrite an idea. We have a task for this as well. Yes. > the meaning of _solution_ is not the same as of _idea_. How do people see both terms? Yes, people who need water come up with an idea to carry buckets, and that becomes a solution. We could define an idea as a general solution, that frees everyone from having to solve that problem ever again.[ruta], > When people chat, what people can/should do next? Do people chat until they find the perfect solution to a problem or, chat until someone gets an idea, and then jumps into tasks and tries to implement it? On the problem page -- yes. However, we should not post arbitrary ideas, just because they _remotely seem_ to solve the problem. Post, when we have a brilliant idea. On the idea page, we should then talk more about the validity of the idea itself rather than search for ideas. > If this idea stays in the comments I and everyone will forget it. Nothing is forgotten here. :) Maybe we could make tags like [idea-here] for indexing little ideas.[ruta], heatmaps are only a way to display the click density,... Your problem is to collect data points about the eyeballs first, and infer the actual words and topics read from that data, - the mouse pointer data, and other data.[ruta], so you want a full-fledged hierarchical network? Well, sub-problems are easy to create by creating a foreign key to the problem itself. Just like we currently have with sub-works. However, this kind of structure would make the person who tries to understand the creation of something -- much harder work. Ideally, we want the problem solvers to do the work of breaking down the problem into sub-problems (e.g., milestones) that are exactly necessary and sufficient to solve the problem. This will make the structure clear and understandable for future learners. If the future learner will have to go through complex mazes of the thinking of original creator, it will make the learner's life harder...On point -- people will not be able to share their know-how openly as long as they are paid by companies with intellectual property hiding policies. The idea of financial think-tank includes the rationale, that if we enable people to directly get paid in society, without intermediaries like companies, -- the society gets the know-how![ruta], very good observation. Indeed, selections during the reading could be used as data source, and a browser plugin could be made to collect that information on all websites you visit. Statistical models could be constructed to filter that information, but it would be much more accurate to have eyeball trackers, like the mentioned (tobii).[ruta], this is an interesting thought! What materials would it be made from? Perhaps the first step is to make things like [muse](http://www.choosemuse.com/) itself transparent.[Cabria], does [this](https://www.changetip.com/) look like 'Busker'?[paulmwatson], when we are writing ideas in public, we expect something new, see our guidelines on [help](https://infty.xyz/help/): // Ideas [Solutions] - think like a halfbaker, nothing is impossible! Be speculative! // The ideas section is for innovation around problems. Yes, codes of conduct can be a solution mitigating intercultural misunderstanding (and thus, facilitating diversity), though they are widely known to exist, so, it's not a conceptually new thing.Oh yeah, it's just as mentioned [make learning not a chore, make it as a computer game](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uegOUmgKB4E&t=52m59s).[ruta], [shamkir], seems like this approach has found its way -- in the news [The FDA Just Approved One Cancer-Killing Virus. Expect More](http://www.wired.com/2015/10/fda-approves-first-virus-will-kill-cancer-cells/). :) I think, if a project is already existing, it would be nice to link it and make a virtual project (e.g., extra field .is_link (e.g., plan.is_link = True))... Wrote to possible tasks :)Perhaps could use the connection, similar to which is used for the airplane mid-air refueling. Is this description okay? :) Not sure yet. Seems like Stephen Wolfram thought of [something](https://youtu.be/TMviBl46dXg?t=582) like this.Makes sense, but I have one problem with this, -- how do we define 'safely'? Who and how decides about the 'safely' component? Different countries of the world have their own definition of what is safe. Obviously, safety is what ascertains achievement of goals. Without knowing goals, we have no practical definition of safety.[ruta], for writing the analysis scripts and keeping the analysis results on your own hard drives ;)Looks useful :) However, an Idea is, as denoted in idea creation form is a Goal-less *principle* or *invention*. An Idea on Infinity is not a business idea -- not something to be worked, on, but something to be discussed about. If you want to write something to be worked on, a Plan may be a better content item to go with :)So, this tracker would measure my blinking rate? How would you call it? Would you want to start a project based on this idea, called something like a BallTracker[TM], or something even more kicky? :)// make information of the past, present, future universally accessible. // Looks like part of [Google's mission](https://www.google.com/about/company/). Question, regarding Google's mission -- what is meant by _universally useful_?It would also be useful for people who want to move when connected to medical life support devices that are too large to be implanted. It would probably also be easier to cryopreserve people, if they are in standardized vehicles. It would be very easy to realize, if one had a database of said questions.[PaulHDear], do you mind, if I link to your ideas from Halfbakery to here?Could easily be done by an AI bot in existing secure meessengers, which you friend when you need debugging yourself. You could start from a rule-based system with a set of questions, and end up with something more advanced like a Bayesian net or a probabilistic program, enhanced with deep neural nets...But you know, I would rather call it "strategic partnerships" or "knowledge exchange" or "consensual mutual supervision", or something else. A "coach" associates with "trainer", and _training_ associates which Pavlovian conditioning, which is a lower order mental activity than reasoning. Look what smart people say about learning -- _"stop learning, and start thinking"_ (TED, [Jacob Barnett](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uq-FOOQ1TpE)). _Thinking together_ -- that's what I would call it.Looks like there is already something related: [magnetic fields vibrates water to prevent damage of organs during freezing](http://nextbigfuture.com/2011/01/magnetic-fields-vibrates-water-to.html) (2011).While good for cold climate zones, it is not suitable for hot climate zones. It could be, if we used induced electricity with Peltier thermoelectric cooling elements though.Regarding the marketing aspects -- it is easy to spray washable dye on glass. Perhaps vacuum packaging might be a little of a problem, but we could use metal for that, couldn't we?I guess, such daemon could only work with those phone or computer apps, which provide a local API to other applications on the system. Not all apps might need this. If an app has a public API, no need to query the device for information. The device daemons could only be useful for accessing things not available otherwise, e.g., apps that don't provide public API, things on the system like photos on the phone, which are not uploaded to any cloud services.Looks like we've got progress in China: [building a sea lab 3km underwater in the South China Sea](http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-06-07/china-pushes-plan-for-oceanic-space-station-in-south-china-sea). Bloomberg writes: "The project was mentioned in China's current five-year economic plan released in March and ranked number two on a list of the top 100 science and technology priorities."Great, and congratulations with the first idea on Infinity! :) I see several ideas in one - use most modern project management techniques, and create a government-run forum for feedback and complaints. The "Use the most modern project management techniques" is very vague, because it is not clear what is "the most modern". We had thoughts that "oh, you could use trello for government, you could use basecamp for public issues, etc.", or "you could use 'agile' for government projects," and so forth. However, a few years later "agile" is not modern anymore, and "basecamp" is replaced by new technology "X". So, it would be good if you can be more specific about this, because "use the best technology" is not an idea, it's a homework problem. Regarding the forum thing. So, essentially, a "government-run online feedback forum for complaints"?. Not a bad idea at all. In fact, I have had a bit similar idea by a friend of mine, recently expressed, as -- "**A complaints register!**" (allow citizens to easily and semi-automatically file legally binding complaints), and make the govt do what it is supposed to do. Complaints are, in fact, a supported form of feedback from citizens in many countries, that government officials are obliged to pay attention to, if the number of complaints reaches certain threshold. Also, can you crystallize in more detail, how this would work in practice? Would the system transcribe all discussions in the houses of parliament, and make them available in this govt-run forum? How does that integrate with project management? How would this guarantee to solve the parent problem?Bacterial contamination is just one type, there are other [types of food poisoning](http://www.aarogya.com/family-health/first-aid/types-of-food-poisoning.html). Moreover, the [food spoilage](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Food_spoilage) involves more than just bacteria -- enzymes, oxidation, mold, yeasts,...I've renamed the idea from 'Hardware solution', because idea names have to be self-explanatory without context. When writing ideas, write as if hey are new inventions. The thought "to communicate information" can be a part of brainstorming, but on Infinity, the solutions section is for ideas that have the degree of conceptualization, where you can put a name to it, something like a novel system, or a gadget. So, it could be "A SatNav that warns you of obstacles based on GPS data". Now, if you could go into more details of how it would work, this would be good for an idea on Infinity. :) Btw., I'm sure you are aware that the current traffic conditions are inferred exactly this way -- by signals from the mobile phone owners on the roads. I'm not sure if the update rate in the phones would be sufficient for a collision warning system though, and likely, you would need special equipment for the cars. How would this compare to the traditional radars?Renamed this into a "System of wristbands to monitor employee stress, and provides rest". Goals titles are okay to be verbs, but ideas have to be nouns, as if they are invention names. (originally, was: "Allow people to produce as much work as they can manage, but not as much as the project requires")This could be superceded by [HiveCells](https://infty.xyz/idea/16/detail/?lang=en), which would have the emergency systems embedded.Since the brain region ([pontine tegmentum](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pontine_tegmentum)) responsible for consciousness has been [identified](http://www.sciencealert.com/harvard-scientists-think-they-ve-pinpointed-the-neural-source-of-consciousness?perpetual=yes&limitstart=1), it would also be important to target it.Apparently, someone's working on something related:: ["Facebook will soon allow you to combine multiple posts into one story"](http://www.whatafuture.com/facebook-multiple-posts-stories/), or maybe they are following Infinity? Just apply [LDA](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latent_Dirichlet_allocation), such a simple thing to do.Interesting. Could these transceivers be also applied for very cheap communications on earth? Small lasers are cheap. {0.5} I think, the nano-transceivers could also have a specific design, so that the information could be transferred, e.g., via light polarization, so that the computing could be performed within SENTs as if they were a single Turing-machine.[Divisor@EC9C06F0], so, did you take this idea any further? It basically makes sense, and a very interesting statistic to track with web cam on a personal laptop. You mean, like a website, where you have a convenient form to fill out, pay a fee, and that opens a company in a country of your choice, and provides fully-automated accounting?Well, recently saw the Auto-CPR approach ( check [https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6393926713293705216](https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:6393926713293705216) ), looks way cheaper, probably something to have at every home.Hey, [Yuri.Brigadir@8E326B69], > 3.) implementation of "lean" and "kanban" methodologies I imagine the whole parlaments going kanban? Oh, maybe :) The recent version of Infinity kind of goes that direction ( check out http://inf.li ). > Too many policies are discussed verbally, and this leads to emotional confrontation which makes some arguments invalid. Totally agree. That's again, what should happen. With the introduction of blockchain, I suppose, this would make it possible to just let people tell their opinions with public and cryptographically signed messages. The 2nd idea -- would be good to separate as separate as independent one.[Tomas@9911CE3F], quick search turns up these numbers: > Calculating the exact number of wild animals on earth is difficult, but [estimates suggest](http://reducing-suffering.org/how-many-wild-animals-are-there/) that it is several orders of magnitude higher than humans and farmed animals combined. For every human on earth, there are at least 10 animals suffering in farms, and likely 1,000 to 100,000 wild vertebrates and plausibly 100,000,000 to 1,000,000,000 “bugs” (including creatures such as insects, spiders and earthworms). This means that even if these animals are on average experiencing more than 1/100,000,000th to 1/10,000,000th the suffering experienced by the average animal in a farm, the absolute amount of wild-animal suffering is greater. Reference: [Wild Animal Suffering Research](https://was-research.org/mission/)How would such facilitation training work? And, how would one keep the facilitation politically neutral?Yeah, but this doesn't explain how this kind of system could be constructed from organizational and technical side. Can you elaborate on that?Looks a lot like what would be if we turned Infinity into a DAPP, except, no mention of the further structure. E.g., whats the most effective way to turn ideas into projects, or link ideas with problems, or execute the projects, etc. How such free market would manage projects. If it is a different currency per project, then it looks a lot like what we have on Ethereum via ERC20ies, and already exists. Is it the idea to basically gamify global challenges by having states and cities join a social contract? How would we motivate that?Who would invite the cities to start pledging part of their budget for that, and how would the invitations have to be framed to make them work? Why 8? While 8 is more than 1, the number "8" looks arbitrary. What criteria would be chosen to determine the "commitment to ecological and social well-being," of the organizations? How would this be inclusive of emergent organizations, rather than just de-facto most powerful world's organizations?Sounds a lot like series of funding, except, unlike in business, where we have private investors, this would be the one that's extension of UN? How is this new, sounds a bit more like perpetuation of the UN.Very concrete. Would be interested in deeper analysis, how this new structure would affect overall ability to address the global risks. While makes total sense, this assumes that the losses are net positive, and that we don't know who is going to be affected by the global catastrophic risks. If they are net negative (e.g., practically everyone loses), or it is known in advance, that e.g., the locations near the sea are going to suffer most due to the rising sea level and global warming, I think, this would make this kind of insurance scheme harder to implement. What would be the optimal structure of the private-public ownership for such condominium law, for addressing the global catastrophic risks? What would such social conditionality mean? Technology is double-edge sword, does that mean, that the patent owners would be able to restrict the use of technology for certain ranges of purposes? How would this relate to technology use by governments? Patents usually are not enforceable at government levels.Nothing new these days? Not bored, when Halfbakery is down...?In other words: [https://wiki.mindey.com/shared/shots/1017b5309975b3acc49290e02-on-importing-web-content.mp4](https://wiki.mindey.com/shared/shots/1017b5309975b3acc49290e02-on-importing-web-content.mp4). Very little effort is required, to pull data from [WikiData](https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Main_Page), and a bit of compute/memory, to have a usable thing. Most of deaths are because of lack of oxygen, so, an indicator in the case of very large spectrum of issues.Exactly, what we're trying to achieve here now, at [infinity.family](https://infinity.family)欢迎来都 Homebase 在 Infinity Family 宇宙飞船~ 不错的想法! 你没想过如何我们在家里可以从宠物瓶塑料创造这些乐高吗?[chronological], first of all, big welcome to Homebase! Hope you find the place fun and entertaining. It's amazing to have you here! Let me check this out.Well, how many systems can we afford to have safely be turned off, and have the society still function? I think that's one of the questions we should ask, as humanity and peoples.// Living documents are the idea of intra document CMS that features the insertability of arbitrary data formats and provides integrations between inserted content blocks. It's a general purpose data structure editor. // Very good concept. However, imagine now that there do exist other systems, outside your internal system, and you want to control them via your internal system. How can you do? The metaform approach results in creating something I call a metadrive (it's among projects under this idea, not in "published" state though). The concept is that if we have drivers for other systems, we could simply mount them to our system. Mount anything, -- e.g., linkedin, or youtube, or something more advanced, and let it become your internal data structure. In practise, I think what's needed for this to happen, is something like Darklang, but better be open source. Check [Darklang](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDg6Ko9gbGk). P.S. I'll fix the markdown, very soon. :)Well, I have a friend, he actually wrote here one of the goals ("categories"), namely [this](https://infinity.family/intent/107/an-economic-system-that-frees-humanity-from-unnecessary-suffering-and-meaningless-work#1582926195) one, and he's working on hypergraphs, his database works like a generalized hypergraph. It's on [GraphBrain.net](http://graphbrain.net). He's shown me some pretty amazing demos, that remind yours. Overall, we seem to have quite similar interests it seems, just not yet very so mutually-coordinated.We could approach that, but do we have something that makes a half-baked idea description without a story plot into a story plot? Currently, it is other people that do it, by putting some thought into it, and creating fun story-lines from an abstract thought, not computers yet.I have actually recently created this [Issue on GitHub](https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/issues/82084). Essentially, VSCode could replace Workflowy and Dynalist locally. Being well funded open source project, it's among the few alternatives I see. Finally, the markdown is fixed, and you can take a look better, hopefully, more understandable. The concept of metaformat is actually very deep. I had written a gitbook on it [here](https://book.mindey.com/metaformat/0001-metaform-philosophy/0001-metaform-philosophy.html). More generall, what needs to be done, is theoretically extract the equivalence classes for polycontext metasymbols. Practically, many drivers need to be written and supported for the systems that we want to make interoperative. **In short term,** work that needs to be done includes: _recognition of field names and the formats of data types and measure units, from larger set of data annotations created for datasets using metaformat. Call it **'autoformat'**: -see a dataset -> automatically generate metaformat description- :)_N2 tuples are enough. You can define N3 tuple as two N2 tuples.... Or, you meant [Notation3](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Notation3) format?[chronological], me as well. Among the most generic UIs that I've seen so far, are that of [dynalist](https://dynalist.io) for unstructured data, and [airtable](https://airtable.com) for structured (tabular), relational-database-like data. However, neither of them are good enough for complex hypergraphs, I suppose. It may be something like a power-mode extension for chromium :)So, how do we define [communionism](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communionism) (Wikipedia)?Isn't Wiktionary (linked) -- such an attempt? Like Wikipedia, it is liberally and openly editable by users. It even has an [API](https://en.wiktionary.org/w/api.php), so one could imagine making a bot, that introduces words by analyzing world's web content.// You did not define what is Togetherism here. In a sense I did, *"thinking and deciding together."* We are the borg.
